Apurva K H attended and presented at the Roma Tre University on Estimating the Multiplier Effect of Social Sector Expenditure using Input-Output Table held in Rome, Italy. It was organized by the Centro Sraffa Summer School  from 5-13 July 2019.

The Summer School covered a range of themes within heterodox economics with a main focus on the idea of social surplus and the related debates like Capital theory along with few INET lectures and seminars. The presentations were multi themed ranging from interpreting Sraffa through Marx, efficacy of unconventional monetary policy, Gibson Paradox, Neo-kaleckian Models and Household credit as a source of final demand components. Apurva presented the above mentioned paper on 5 July 2019.

The Summer School  largely held lectures by professors of Roma Tre Univeristy but also had distinguished lectures and seminars by professors from University of Sienna, Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, Catholic University of Milan, The New School for Social Research and La Sapienza University of Rome.
