Jyotsna attended and was a discussant at the Workshop on ‘Migration in South Asia: Poverty and Inequality’ at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru which was held on 24 and 25 February, 2019. It was organised by South Asia Alliance for Poverty Eradication (SAAPE) and Institute of Public Policy (IPP), National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru.

Dr. Jyotsna Jha was a discussant on the second day of the workshop along with Mr. Igor Bosc, ILO. The session was titled, ‘State Responses to Migration Issues’. The speaker was Dr. Akhil Ranjan Dutta- Gauhati University, India and Dr. Netra Timsina- SAAPE. The chair of the session was Dr. Shobha Raghuram. The rapporteur was Ms. Linitha Mathew.
