National Consultation Workshop on ‘ECCE Programmes in India: Identifying Innovative Models, Pedagogies and Approaches’ was held by CBPS and Save the Children

A National Consultation Workshop on ‘ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education ) Programmes in India: Identifying Innovative Models, Pedagogies and Approaches’ was held by CBPS and Save the Children jointly, at the India International Centre, New Delhi on 28 June, 2017. The aim of the workshop was to share the approach of the study that is being undertaken by CBPS on the status of ECCE programmes in India and development of an alternative costing model for ECCE, for Save the Children, and to collate more information about existing innovative practices and programmes in ECCE in India. The workshop was attended by academics, practitioners and government representatives from  Ambedkar University, World Bank,  Mobile Creches, Care, UNICEF, etc. This was followed by the First Advisory Committee Meeting for the same project in the afternoon.
