Centre for Budget and Policy Studies (CBPS), Bangalore, is a non-profit, independent research organisation, committed to creation and sharing of knowledge for an empowered, equitable, just and democratic society. We have an opening for the position of Research Advisor who can lead the projects on Public Finance and other related subject areas. In addition to carrying out designated responsibilities at senior levels in existing projects, the Research Advisor will be responsible for conceptualising new research projects (in the areas of Public Finance and budgets, primarily), undertaking research analysis, and writing etc. Candidates with PhD or Masters’ in Economics/related areas, with exposure in the field of Research, and robust knowledge and understanding of econometric research methods including the use of software (STATA, R etc), are preferred.
