CBPS organised a one day workshop titled ‘A teacher training toolkit for Education in Emergencies’ on 22 September 2021 in Patna, Bihar

The Center for Budget and Policy Studies (CBPS), Bangalore, organised a one day workshop titled ‘A teacher training toolkit for Education in Emergencies’ on 22 September 2021 in Patna, Bihar. The purpose of the workshop was to discuss aspects of education in emergency based on a teacher training toolkit developed by CBPS, Bangalore. The workshop was inaugurated by Shri Tripurari Sharan (Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar). The workshop was also graced by Shri Sanjay Kumar (Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar), Dr. Binodanand Jha (Director, Research and Training, Department of Education Research and Training), Shrimati Kiran Kumari (SPO Quality), Shri Syed Moin (UNICEF) and representatives from ADRI and Diksha Foundation.
The workshop included sessions on different aspects of education in emergency and shed light upon the critical principles for success of distance education, what is different in an emergency for education, responsive pedagogy regarding critical thinking be it online or offline.
