In this study, CBPS has carried out a comprehensive review of the impact and effectiveness of residential schooling facilities for girls from disadvantaged communities. Alongside a comparative understanding of the residential schooling schemes/programmes run by the government & NGOs and their impact, the study also attempts to draw inferences on residential schooling as a strategy for schooling of girls from the disadvantaged/marginalised communities.
Presentation: Major findings were presented at our Annual Seminar 2014 and is available here.
