Vinod Vyasulu, Founder of CBPS, was the Chief Guest for Mahalonobis Day celebrations on 29 June 2015. This day is also referred to as Statistics Day. Each year, the Indian Statistical Institute uses this opportunity to invite a distinguished scholar to the Institute to address their students, faculty and workers about the role of statistics in human thought and society. It was held in the first half of the day.
