The study aimed to understand the quality of acceptance of disadvantaged children who have been admitted to private unaided schools under Section 12(c) of the RTE Act. This was a pilot study that was conducted in the Bangalore Urban District wherein 45 schools were covered in 9 ranges, ensuring that there was at least 1 CBSE, 1 ICSE and 3 State Board (low/medium/high fee charging) schools covered in each range.
A paper was published containing the findings of the study.
