Centre for Budget and Policy Studies (CBPS), with funding from MacArthur Foundation, had initiated a three-year study on Open and Distance Learning (ODL). The research study examines ODL as a viable alternative in secondary education. It seeks to provide information on present gaps and the desired future actions for ODL.
The Third Advisory Committee Meeting was held on 14 October 2015 in Bengaluru. Members of the advisory committee who attended the meeting were Prof. Shyam Menon (Ambedkar University), Prof. Jyotsna Jalan (CSSS), and Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj (NIOS). Shobitha Rajagopalan from Institute of Development Studies, Jaipur was also present at the meeting. The team from CBPS was there to present the progress of the study. Some members from the administration team were also present at the meeting.
