CBPS organised a Focused Group Discussion (FGD) with Teachers for Pre-School Adaptive Behaviour on 30 May 2018 in the office. It was facilitated by Dr. Maithreyi R, Ketaki Prabha and Madhuwanti Mitro. The discussion was conducted with the support of pre-school teachers (government and private), anganwadi workers and teacher trainers. The workshop/discussion was organised to understand behaviours and skills deemed developmentally appropriate and necessary for preschool children to be able to transition to primary school. Further, the aim was to identify behaviours that are also culturally relevant to the local home and school context of the child.
