CBPS carried out a comprehensive review of the impact and effectiveness of residential schooling facilities for girls from disadvantaged communities. Alongside generating a comparative understanding of the residential schooling schemes/programmes run by the government and NGOs and their impact, the study also attempted to draw inferences from residential schooling to help inform strategy for the education of girls from disadvantaged/marginalised communities.
Major findings were presented at our Annual Seminar 2014 and are available here.
